DIY motor for kickbike (Electric kickbike. English version below)

Meillä kävi tuossa aiemmin kesällä sukulaisia ja niillähän oli sähköpotkulauta mukana. Tuommonenhan ois kiva, mutta on niin tyyriitä ettei ole varaa ostaa 😉

Siinä sitten ajattelin siirtää tuon vanhan auton pyyhkijä moottorista tehdyn ketjumoottorin tähän vasta tekemään potkupyörään. Tuo vanha pyörä joutaa jo toiseen projektiin (jonka pääsen toivottavasti joskus aloittamaan)

En muista miten olin tämän takarenkaan oikein koonnu, mutta eihän siihen tällä tavalla mitään vetoa saa kun hammasratas ei pyöri ollenkaan 😆 Tämähän oli eturattaasta tehty

Löysin sitten vielä tuolta jemmasta renkaan, jonka akseli kävi tähän.
Sehän piti vanha rengas purkaa ja koota uusiksi jarru osilla.

Kyllä on kädet mäskissä ku näitten, vaseliinisten osien kans leikkii.

Pari kertaa joutu tuon kokoamaan että pelas, mutta pääasia että toimi.
Sitten moottori irti vanhasta ja kiinnitys tähän potkupyörään... Pikkusen joutu väänttään, mutta meni samoilla kiinnikkeillä.

Sitten ketjut. Mullahan näitä ketjun paloja onneksi löytyy, ehkä liikaakin, mutta näköjään niitä aina tarvii ☺️Ainaha niitä pittää vähän sommitella ja leikata / liittää että saahaan tällaiseen erikoisvehkeeseen sopimaan

Ketjujen liitos

Sittenhän se piti laittaa virta nappi paikoilleen. Tämähän oli siinä mielessä helppo että se oli jo valmiina. Ei muutako kiinnitys tankoon ja johto nippusiteillä runkoon.

Kun ketjut oli paikoillaan ja saatu suoraan hammasrattaiden välillä, niin sitten vielä akku kiinni runkoon

Käytin akun kiinnityksessä reikärautaa (Runkoon reiät pulteille) ja laitoin vielä kumimattoa tuonne väliin ettei se kovin räpsi runkoon... Ei oo mukava jos rupiaa alapäässä kihelmöimään kesken ajon. 12volttia kyllä tuntuu ku se sinne laitetaan 😆

Sitten annoin poitsun testata.

Testi

Kyllähän tämä vähän paremmin vetää kun pyörä (ei niin paljoa painoa), mutta silti ajattelin vaihtaa eteen isomman ja taakse pienemmän hammasrattaan.
Yritin 3-4 kertaa eri asetuksilla, mutta ei, sillä oikein vauhtia saanut 🙄

Ei ollu enää vaihto rattaita. Takana oli nyt pienin mitä löyty, mutta eteen.... sehä piti tehdä isompi eturatas, ei nyt ihan alusta, mutta melkein.
Vanhasta pikku pyörästä oli jäänyt etuhammasratas, mutta se keskiö ei passannut.
Rälläkällä reikä rattaaseen ja pienempi ratas hitsillä kiinni.

Nyt oli isompi ratas eteenkin.

Tässäkin on vaan semmonen homma ettei se jaksa enää vetää ylämäkiin (tai edes pieneen nousuun täysillä) mutta kyllä se kulki ainakin 10-12km/h tuossa kun pikku mutka kokeiltiin.

Se nyt saa olla tuollainen.... Ennenku tehdään 5hevosvoiman moottorista uus versio, ns Trike... Joo, tiiän että oon aiemminki siitä haaveillu, ja osatki ois jo kasassa... mutku ois vaa aikaa 😃😄

Onhan mulla myös tuo omatekonen auton laturista tehty moottori, mutta se vaan tarvii 3x 12voltin akut että pyörii.... Mutta uskon että sillä saisi vauhtiakin ihan hyvin 😉
Katotaan mihin sen sais laitettua.
Nytkun taloki on myynnissä niin sehän piti tuo moottori polkuauto purkaa ja viiä metallinkeräykseen... ei sitä ennää viittiny kellekkään antaakkaan. Paljo muutaki tavaraa lähti kierrätykseen... aika paljo oli esim metalli romua säästetty, ja paljon lähti poiskin mitä ois voinu vielä käyttää moneenkin projektiin 😉

Tämän tekeleen jälkeen tein myös ensimmäisen melodista metallia soittavalle bändille, "musiikki videon" se ei ole käsinkirjoitettu, joten siihen tuli vähän niinkuin making of video alle...Koitin tuossa kysellä Facebook ryhmissä vähän ideoita että millaisista videoista porukka tykkää... Ei yhtään vastausta 😟
Jos ne vaan kaikki nykyään kulkee napit korvissa ja silmät kiinni eikä paljo videoita kattele😆

Electric kickbike. English version

We had relatives visiting at summer, and they had electric scooter with them. That would be nice, i thought. But they are so expensive that i cant affors them  😉

Then i thought i transfer the wiper motor from other bike to this homemade kickbike. That old bike can go to another project (What im looking to start soon.... if i only had time)

I dont know what i had done with this back wheel, but the gear wont even turn 😆 This was made from front wheel

I found one tire from upstairs and its axle was good for this. It just needed to reassembly with the brake parts.

Hand will be in vaselin when you play with these parts.
Here a tip!
You should not go and crap your missis at boobs or ass with these hands... there will be saying 😆

Had to pull this a part few times but finally got it to work.
Then i took off the motor from old bike and assemblyed it to this kickbike... Some force had to use, but made it work with the existence bracket.

Then the chain. I have these chain pieces (a lot) but they are always needed.
Always have to cut and attach them again with these projects.

Then i had to make the start button. This one was easy because i already had done this so i just needed to mount it to handlebar, and attach the wire to frame

When i had attached the chain and button. The chain was straight with the gears. I had to attach the battery to frame too.

I used some hole iron with the battery attachment (Holes to frame for botls) and i but rubber matt under the battery so it wont touch the frame... Its not nice feeling when you get electrocuted nuts. 12 volt will hurt when it hits there 😆

This pulls a bit better that that bike (not so much weight), but i thought i can increase the speed with larger gear to front and smaller to back.

I tryed about 3-4 times different gears, but it didnt increase the speed 🙄

I didnt have any more spare gears. I had the smalles at the back, but the front.... I needed to modified a new gear... Not from the start but almoust

There was a bigger gear from old bike, but the center didnt fit.
I needed to cut a hole to bigger gear and weld in the smaller (suitable) gear to it

Now i had bigger gear to front too.

There an issue. It doesnt pull so good anymore to hills, but it rolled about 10-12kh/h when we tested it a bit.

Now it was done... We make a 5hp version trike next time... Yes, i know, i´ve sayd it before... now we have almoust all the parts for it... if i only had time 😃😄

I also have that car alternator motor, but it uses 3x12volt battery, but i think that would be great to some project 😉

Now that im selling the house, i neede to get rid off some stuff. This pedal car needed to go, so i dissemblyed it and took it to recycle... It was so modified that i couldnt give it to someone, not even for free.... I took lot of metal trash to recycle... I could of use those to some project, but i need to get rid of those future projects 😉

After this project i also made my first "music video" This band plays melodic heavy. There was no script, so its like making of music video. I tryed to ask some pointer what peolpe want to see from facebook pages, but there was not a single answer  😟
I think people just walks around with theyr headphones and eyes shut... doesnt really watch any videos nowdays😆

Pikku WC, tasojen värinvaihto ja muuta korjausta. TEE SE ITSE.

Nyt oli vuorossa pikku vessan korjaukset.
Aiemmin vaihdettiin väriä keittiön tasoihin ja tämä pienen vessankin tasot oli saman väriset ja puiset.

Tämä vain tuli vähän aiemmin kun olin ajatellut, koska.... Ajateltiin myydä talo pois ja muuttaa pienempään 😲
Meillä kävi välittäjä ja sille oikeastaan luvattiin värin vaihto ennenkuin myynti kuvat otetaan

No mutta, nämä tasot.

TASOT ENNEN

Nämä ruskeat tasot on vessassakin aikansa elänyt ja niitä on vahattu pari kertaa, mutta nyt oli aika vaihtaa väriä.

Eli vaimolla oli kutsut lauantaina ja tasot piti olla kasassa ennen sitä.
Keskiviikko iltana aloin purkaan wcn

Ensiksi putkista hanat kiinni, ja aukoo mutterit sievästi ja varmistaa ettei vettä tule sulun läpi kun irrottaa putket.

VESITULO HANAT PUTKISSA

Nytkun hanat oli kiinni ja mutterit auki, myös viemäriputki ja käsisuihku irti
Allashan oli silikonilla kiinni, eli silikoni leikattiin mattopuukolla ja allas pois.

SILIKONIN LEIKKAUS

ALLAS

Sitten tasot irti, jotka ei onneksi ollut kuin parilla ruuvilla kiinni.
(Pari ruuvia oli katkennut sisään niin joutu käyttämään voimakeinoja)
Nämä sitten hioin tuolla autotallissa (ensin karkealla ja siitä hienonnetaan paperia pikku hiljaa)

HIONTA

Kun pinnat oli tasaiset ja puhtaat, voitiin aloittaa öljyvahaus. Sama sävy kuin keittiössä (kelo öljvaha)
1kerros vahaa. 20min imeytyminen ja liian vahan pois pyyhkiminen talouspaperilla. 24 tuntia kuivuminen.

TASOJEN KÄSITTELY

Niinku sanoin, mulla rupes olemaan kiire 😁 eli nämä kuivu vain noin 8 tuntia / kerros.
Toinen kerros vahaa ja sama homma.
Sittenhän se piti laittaa öljyt tasoihin. Laitoin ensimmäisen kerroksen vahaöljyä ja annoin sen kuivua  12 tuntia.

Tässä välissä ajateltiin sutia myös kaikki seinät uudella kerroksella valkoista maalia. Näitä seiniä ei oltukaan vielä maalattu niin teki kyllä paljon valoisammaksi.
Tavarat ja koukut irt seiniltä, teippaus ja maalaus... En ruvennut irroitteleen nuita kaapin runkoja seiniltä kumminkaan

RUUVAUS, TEIPPAUS JA MAALAUS

Lisäsin tämän jälkeen toisen kerroksen öljyä tasoihin ja se saikin kuivua sitten sen 12 tuntia.

Saatto nämä korjaukset mennä päällekkäinkin, mutta kirjoitan nyt näin etten hypi asiasta toiseen 😉

Tässä vaiheessa ajattelin myös korjata wc lattian irronneen laatan ja korjata rapistuneen saumauksen.
Saahan näitä "kopo" laattoja olla kuivissa tiloissa, mutta hyvähän ne on korjata.
Vessassa on lattia lämmitys niin sai olla aika varovainen.

Ensin siis miniporalla vanhat saumat pois.

SAUMAUKSEN POISTO

Laatta ei lähtenykkään kokonaisena, mutta onneks entiset asukkaat oli jättänyt ullakolle varalaattoja 😅

Naputtelin vanhan laastin irti. Voin kertoa että siinä sai vähän aikaa istua lattialla, naputella ja hioa +imuroida 😁.

LAASTIN IRROITUS

Laattaliimalla laatta kiinni, ja sen annettiin kuivua. Sitten ostin harmaata saumalaastia pikku purkin (joka just riitti kaikkiin saumoihin. Minimi 3mm syvyys)
Lastalla saumamassa rakoihin ja kostealla sienellä pyyhkäisy

LAATAN KIINNITYS

SAUMAUS

Taas laitoin laattoja ja saumasin, vaikka parikertaa jo sanonu ettei ikinä ennää 😆
Nyt kun lattia saumat oli kuivunut (lauantai aamuna) niin oli aika laittaa paikalleen kuivuneet tasot.

TASOJEN KIINNITYS

Tasot ku oli paikallaan, sitten laitettiin allas silikonilla kiinni ja putki liittimiin vaihdettiin helmet (puristus tiivisteet) ja laitettiin putket kiinni.

ALTAAN JA PUTKIEN KIINNITYS

Testatkaa heti että putket ei vuoda

Siinähän se taas oli. Tulihan siitä isompi homma ku ajateltiin, mutta jos se auttaa talon myynnissä niin hyvä on.

Käytettiin myös kuntotarkastajaa joka kolus kyllä joka paikan, mutta tärkein asia oli sokkelin tarkistus ja kosteuden mittaus.

Ukkeliha leikkas pariinkin kohtaan seinään reiän että pääsi sokkeliin käsiksi.

Tässä talossaan on valesokkeli, mutta en ymmärrä mitä ihmiset pelkää jos vedet ja kallistukset on ohjattu poispäin talosta, ja paljon riippuu myös maan laadusta.

Mutta sokkelihan oli Kuiva ulkoseinästä, ja vielä kuivempi sisäpuolen kantavasta seinästä... Ei lähelläkään kosteus / laho rajoja.

Pari pientä korjaus suositusta oli, mutta ajattelin nekin tehdä pois alta ettei jää kummittelemaan seuraavalle omistajalle.

Yhtenä korjaus kehoituksena oli että kattoikkunan maalit piti uusia, ja pikkusen piti lämmitellä että maali ja uudet silikonit kuivuis näin talvella (Onneksi oli lauhempi päivä)

Huomaavatpa että täällä kyllä huolletaan taloa 💪

Kyllähän näissä omakotitaloissa on aina omat hommansa. Huollot, pihatyöt ym.

Omasta mielestä menee aika halvalla, verrattuna siihen että talo on täysin remontoitu ja uusittu 😔, mutta minkäs näille talo markkinoille tekee. On tämä nyt kumminkin tämän alueen kalleimmasta päästä.

Ajateltiin tosiaan muuttaa pienempään, koska meillä on nytkin 2 huonetta tyhjillään 😔. Saisi uudessa talossa olla laittoakin.
Mietittiin että jos tekis remontit sillai huone kerrallaan ilman kiireitä 🙄... Ei taia onnistua ainakaan minulta 😆
(saattaa tulla parikin kirjoitusta remonteista tulevaisuudessa 😉)

Now it was time to fix the small bathroom.
Earlyer we chanced color to kitchen counter tops and we had the same wood and color at the bathroom.

This came a bit quick, because... Thought of selling the house and move to smaller one 😲

We was visited by the house seller and we promised that we chance these tops before they take the selling pictures.

Now to these tops.

TOPS BEFORE

These brown tops had seen theyr days. I have colored these few times, but now the brown had to go.

My wife had some party at saturday, so i started the demolition at wednesday.

First you have to close the water pipes and then open the nuts. Be carefull and make sure that the water dont come through the pipes.

Now the water was closed so i had to open the nuts, hand shover and sewer pipe.
sink was attached with silicone, so i had to cut it free.

The i removed the tops. They were attached with few screws.
(Few screws was broken so i had to take some force with them)
I sanded these tops at the carage (first with rough paper and then smoother at the end)

When the surface was good, then i could start the waxing.
Same color as the kitchen (Deadwood)
1st layer wax, 20min suck in and the just wipe the exes wax of. 24hour drying time.

TOP WAXING

Like i said, i was in a hurry 😁 so these tops just dryed about 8 hours / layer.
Second layer of wax and the same times.
Then i used oil to the tops. 1st layer waxoil and 12hour dying time.

Meantime i had an idea to paint all the walls with new white. These walls havent been painted sense we bought the house. The color was much brighter.
Took all the stuff from walls, taped and painted... I didnt remove the capins... too much work

I added second layer of oilwax at this time to the tops, and let it dry another 12 hours.

These fixes might go top of each other, but i write like this so i dont jump to place to place.😉

I figured that i can fix the loose tile and renew the caulking at the same time, while waiting the wax to dry. It doesnt matter if you have loose tiles at the dry place and the joints are good, but i had some time so i thought to renew these too.
This toilet has electric floor heating so i needed to be carefull not to break it.

I used mini drill to remove the old caulking

The tile didnt remove hole, but cladly the old owners had left few spare tiles at the warehouse😅

So i tapped the old mortar off... i can tell you that had to sit for while to get these off. 😁.

Tile glue for attachment for tile and let it dry. Then i bought gray tile plaster small jar (it just barely was enough for minimum of 3mil caps)
I used spatula to but the plaster to caps and wiped it with wet sponge.

I was putting the tiles and caulk again... i just sayed that never again. 😆

Now that the seams was dryed (Saturday morning) it was time to put the tops back on.

When the tops was back on, then we attached the sink with silicone and put in the new pearls to the water pipes.

It was done. It was a bit bigger job that i thought but if it help to sell the house, good.

We did the house inspection and thought that the house base was the most important part to check.

Inspector cutted few holes to our walls so he could get to the bottom base boards.

This house has fake plinth, but i dont understand why people are so afraid about that. If the rainwaters are directed away from the building and the soil is good, there should be no proplem with the moisture.

The plinht was dry from the outer wall and even dryer from the inside support wall. Not even near the rotten mark.

There was few smaller fix recomendation, and i thought that i fix them too and not to leave it to new owners.

One succestion was that the roof window needed new paint. So i neede to warm up the window because its not good to paint at winter

Theres lot of things to do in your own home. Yardwork, inspections, repairs ec setera.

I think im selling the house pretty cheap, consider that it has been renewd and fixed whole. 😔, but what to do when the prices are down... this is the most expensive house around this neighborhood.

We thought that we get a smaller home, because we already have 2 room empty. And the new house can have something to fix

If new house has something to renovate, we thought that we do them slowly 🙄... I dont think that i can do that 😆
