(HOUSE RENOVATION (vol3), SAUNA. ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)

Eli meiän sauna remontti josta ite oon kyllä meleko ylpeä. Oon nyt 2 kertaa laittanu tässä parin vuoden sisään kuvan joihinki teeseitse ryhmään facebookissa, ja palaute on kyllä ollu hyvää, niimpä kirjottelen sitte nyt tästä 😄

Tätä tuli suunniteltuaki noin 3 vuotta ku ootin sitä lottopottia että sais kuluttaa vähä enemmän rahhaa. Eihä sitä kuulunu eikä näkyny niin se piti sitte kaivella säästöistä. Sillon olin töissä kans murskahommissa eri paikkakunnalla, mutta kyllä siihenki hommaan kuulu palio muutaki, ja niin palio ettei ehtiny ees tekemään 😄, mutta saunan tarkeimmän osan sieltä kaadoin, eli puun.
Puusta tarvittavat osat talteen ja loput polttopuuksi. Runko ja pari käppyräista oksaa. Niistä kuorin kaarnat pois ja jätin autotalliin oottamaan remonttia...En muista näinkö jossain sivulla puun saunassa, vaiko unta, mutta semmonen oli saatava 😆

PUU KUIVUMASSA

Ensinhän tämä oli meleko vaalea ja normaalin näkönen perus sauna. Ennen oli ollu puukiuas joka vaihdettu sähköön. (KUVA VUODELTA 2010)

SAUNA ENNEN

Samalla tehtiin tuo aiemmin kirjoittama kylpyhuone remontti (2011),

niin lattiat on samasta laatasta. Täälläkin oli vanhan laatan alla vielä yksi kerros (keltaista laattaa) mutta edelleen hyvin tehty, eli kiinni oli 😄
                     

VANHA LAATTA POIS LATTIASTA

                       

TASOITUS, VESIERISTYS, LAATTA JA SAUMAUS

  (LAATAN KAATOJEN TESTAUS VEDELLÄ, ETTÄ VARMASTI MENEE KAIVOON)

Patterihan maalattiin tässä ensimmäisessä pikkuremontissa myös harmaaksi.
Kylpyhuoneen katto käsiteltiin tällä samalla KEMI värisellä saunasuojalla. Nämähä kaikki lauteet, katto ja seinäthän piti hioa vanhasta lakasta että sai saunasuojan tarttumaan. 2 käsittelyä että tummeni tarvittavaan tummuuteen (salama vähän antaa valoa kuviin).

Ja kiukaan tausta ja saatu uusi ovikin maalattiin harmaaksi. Siinäpä se, saunan pikkuremontti (2011).

Tein semmosella sivustolla ku SUNSAUNA netissä kaikenlaisia piirustuksia ja mittailuita ja suunnitelmia kauan aikaa, mutta eihä ne lauteiden suunnittelut ym, oikein menny niinku suunnittelin.
Tässä pari aiempaa suunnitelmaa.

  SUNSAUNA SIVUSTOLTA

OMA SUUNNITTELEMA

Toisessa piirroksessa näkyy möys pesukoneen uusi paikka, pöntön liitäntä ja kaukolämpökeskuksen paikka... Näinhän kaikki muu melkein menikin, paitsi että u-lauteet vei järkevää istuin tilaa joten niistä luovuttiin (ja pyöreät kulmat unohdettiin hinnan vuoksi, ja ite tehtynä ois vieny liikaa aikaa)  sekä kaukolämpökeskus muutti toiselle seinälle. Viimeset piirrokset tein vasta ku remontti alko.

Sitten se H-hetki koitti. Sauna palasiksi ja uutta puuta sisään.
Kaikkihan lopulta lähti pienestä reiästä seinässä, josta laasti irronnut (kuvassa vähän jo isonnettu reikä, ihan vahingossa 😉). Ois sen voinu paikatakki, mutta mitä sitä helepoksi tekemään, saipahan hyvän syyn toteuttaa pitkäaikasta unelmaa 😂
btw, laatu on melko huono joissain kuvissa ku joutuin kaivelee vanhoista kuvista ja scannaamaan ne takas koneelle 😂 Tuli iha vanhat ajat mielee ku muute ei oikein saanu kuvia konneelle... ei anakaa niillä vehkeillä mitä mulla oli 😒

Kaikki vanhat röpölä laastit pois ja uudella laastilla seinän tasoitus.

             

SEINÄN PURKU

Ehotti joku mulle että jättäsin tuon tiiliseinän näkyvii, mutta henkilökohtasesti en tykkää, eikä kyllä sopinu suunnitelmiinkaa 😏 Oli muute vähä huonosti tukittu nuo entiset piipun paikat, ei ollu tiiliä korjailtu ollenkaa ja nehä oli pelkällä laastilla kiinni. Nooo, tiilet kiinni kunnolla ja noki luukut jätin, jos joskus tästä muuttaa ja uus asukas haluaa muuttaa takas puusaunaks nii onnistuu.

               

SEINÄN TASOITUS JA LAATOITUS

Samassa ku näin tämmösen kiukaan nii se oli siinä (HARVIA GLOBE). Semmonenha se oli hankittava, ja vielä jatko/teleskooppi jalalla että sai kiukaan keskitasanteelle nostettua. Olihan tuo kiuas kallis, mutta tuo jalka se vasta kallis oliki (1/2 kiukaan hinnasta). Meinasin jo laittaa kattoon roikkumaan niinku kuvassa, mutta ei se ois sopinu 😉 K-Raudassa ei ollu ku mallikappala kiukaita ja tilaaminen ois kestäny 2 viikkoa. No eihän se sopinu ku piti olla HETI. Myyjän kans sitte tyhjennettii kivet mallikappaleesta ja laitettii kärryyn, anto se vielä ne kivetki mukkaa 😂 ja pikku alennus tietenki ku malli, eli säästettii monta eurua.

                           HARVIA GLOBE

Nyt oli sitte kiuas. Ei muutako vähä tukilankkua, laudelautaa ja ritilää mukkaan ja tekemään uusia lauteita. Mittaukset tietenki ensin ja sitte sahhailla valmista pätkää että sai laittaa saunasuojan pintaan helpommin.

       

 LAUTEIDEN TEKO

Sitten sen puun käsittely. Oliha siinä melekonen mallaus että sai rungon ja oksat soviteltua järkevästi saunan seinien ja katon mukaan. Sehä oli nyt niin kuiva ku sahara, 3 vuotta maannu patterin vieressä eli halkeamiakin oli. Sahanpuruaki oli jo kertyny niin siihe sotkin vähän saunasuojaa (IVALO värikoodi, harmaa) ja erikeepperiä. Sillä raot täyteen ja lopuksi 2 kerrosta koko puun ja oksien pinnalle. Opin muistaakseni puutyöpajalla tämmösen kikan 😁 (voi että ku en sillo ottanu kuvaa koivusesta kapioarkusta jonka tein 😢

 PUUN VÄRJÄYS

Sittehä ne oli sähköt. Laitoin sähkäriä varten kaikki valmiiksi, vedenkestävän liitosrasian kattoon jossa ennen oli valo (Ei kuvaa tästä 😟). Siitä kuumakesto johdot lauteiden alle ledejen liitosrasiaan. Jotenki sähkömies silti sai menemään aikaa 2 tuntia, ihan välttämättä halus porata reikiä kiukaan ohjainboxille mun uuteen laatotukseen (paitsi ettei sillä ollu työkaluja nii minä etin omista 😅) Lasku ei silti ollu pahakaa.

                    

SÄHKÖT KIUKAASEEN JA LEDEIHIN

Ja kaiuttimetha ne piti tietenki tehä kans. Iha vaa mdf levyä ja venekaiuttimet, silikonilla suojattu ja maalattu. Vanhalla johdollisella systeemillä mentiin, en oo muute ees varma oliko sillo langattomia olemassakaa.

             

 KAIUTTIMET SAUNAAN

Sitte niitten lauteiden kasaus. Ensin runko pystyyn, ja semmonen ettei varmasti kukkaa tipu läpi 😆 Sitten kiukaan säätö oikeaan korkeuteen, sillä he%¤#tin kalliilla teleskooppi jalalla 😂 Yritin tehä ruuvaukset ja tuennat mahollisimman piiloon ettei näyttäs ihan hutasemalla tehyltä 😄

Eli lauteet kiinni alapuolelta juuri sopivilla ruuveilla... Mutta oliha siinä pariki paikkaa mihi ei vaa saanu ruuvatua, eli siitä vaa lauteen päältä kiinni 😕 Ja ritilätkin yritin tehä irrotettaviksi semmosilla oven lukitus vehkeillä, mutta vääntöä tuli liikaa ja ritilät ei pysyny paikallaa. Eli toinen vaihtoehto oli sitte siirrettävä alajakkara.

No lauteet kiinni, pari kattopanelia paikalleen ja puunrungon vänkäys tuohon väliin. On muute nii kii ettei lähe varmasti irti 😄
Ja ledejen johot alhaalta seinien takaa kattoon, puulle 6 kpl ja kiukaalle 3kpl ja seinien takaa myös selkänojan yläpäähän 5kpl ja keskilauteiden alle 4kpl... eli siinä selitys tuolle aiemman kuvan johtosotkulle 😅.
                         

PUUN RUNGON ASENNUS

Sitten oksien sahaus/asennus ja led-valojen veto oksille ja kiukaalle. Valot kannattaa testata vielä ennen lopullista asennusta ettei sitte tarvi ruveta repimää raivona niitä irti 😉. Kiukaan päälle kannattaa muuten vaihtaa kiuas ledit jotka kestävä paremmin lämpöä. Ja tietenki sahauskohtien peitto saunasuojalla. Saunasuoja antaa semmosen liukkaan ja kestävän pinnan joka kestää vuosia.

Ja taas lähti ovi vaihtoon. Nythä se piti saaha tumma lasiovi ku oli uus saunaki. Ja taas kävi tuuri, niinku viime oven kans... Olin sillo purkamassa jottai vanhempaa kerrostaloa ja kävin kattelee sisällä ettei kukkaa juoppo makkaa missää nurkassa sammuneena ku ruvetaa puristellee taloa palasiksi.
 
     

PURKU-UKKO JA VÄHÄN ISOMMAT SAKSET

Löysin 2 tummaa savulasia, 2 eri kokosta. En siihen hätään muistanu mittoja nii näppäsin ne kummatki ruokatauolla (niinku hyvä työntekijä tekkee😄) irti ja kantoin autoon (hajalleha ne ois muute menny). Kapeampiha se onneks passaski, eli ei tarvinu ostaa sitäkää. Saunasuojalla kahva, ja valmis. Toisen annoin kaverille, meinas tehä siitä pöytälasin... en vaa tiiä mite se leikkaus tuommosen lasin kans, mutta kai se on onnistunu 😄

UUSI LASIOVI

Sitte vielä alalauteen ritilät ja siivous.

Laitettiin vielä tuo Partyliten tuikkiva seinä/pöytä somiste seinälle antamaan valoa (jos tarvii) ja tunnelmaa.

HOUSE RENOVATION (vol3) SAUNA (2017)

So, our sauna renovation that im very proud myself. I have but 2 times pictures to some DIY sites at faebook, and the feedback has been good. So i thought i write about it to my blog 😄

          SAUNA 3 STAGES

This was planned about 3 years when i waited that lottery jackpot so that i could use more money to it. I didnt see it or hear it, so i had to dig my pockets... deeeeeep. At this point i was workin crushing industry again, exept another kind of crushing. not rock but concrete crushing at another district, but that job also included so much more than just crushing... so much work that i couldnt even keep up 😄. But i got my most important element for my sauna there, the tree.
I cut and trim it to fit my car (trunk and some crooked branches) and rest i chopped for firewood.From those i peeled of the bark and left them to my carage to wait the renovation....I cant recal if i did dream it, or did i see tree in sauna some website, but i had to have it 😆

First this was pretty light color normal looking basic sauna. Before there has been wood stove that had been chanced to electric stove. (Picture from 2010)

        SAUNA BEFORE

The floor tiles are the same as the bathroom. This floor also had 2 layer tiles. we took off the upper layer and there still was old tiles (yellow tiles) but it was made good, so didnt have to come off.😄

                          LEVELING, WATERPROOF, TILES AND SEAMING

  (CHECK THE FELLING WHIT WATER, SO WATER GOES SURELY IN THE WELL)

We also painted the radiator to grey like in the bathroom.
Bathroom sealing we also theated whit this same dark saunacover (KEMI). All the wood (benches, sealing and the walls) had to be grinded from the old warnish. 2 threatments whit sauna cover so it would come darker. (camera gives too much light to these pictures)

Stove wall and the door also painted grey. That was the small renovation to our sauna at 2011

I made some drawings/plans at web site called SUNSAUNA for very long time, measuring drawings exetera. At the end i didnt even use them, because the benches and other stuff wouldnt work like in the picture 😟

OWN PLANNING

At the second plan shows new place for washing machine, toilet pipe and district heating center.... This what almoust did happen, exept the U-bench took too much sitting space, so i had to discard them (and round corners cost too much, and if i would do it myself, it would took too much time) and district heating center moved to another wall. Last drawings i made when the renovation started... to my head 😉

Then the D-day came. demolition the sauna and new wood in.
All started from little hole at the wall that had lost some plaster. (At picture the hole has been largened... by accident 😉. It could been fixed, but why do it easy, and now i had reason to make the long waited renovation 😂
btw, the quality of some pictures are very bad. I had to scan them from my album, to computer 😂 I had some flashback while doing it. I remember the time when u couldnt get pictures to computer any other way.... or, atleast i didnt have thet sort of technology 😒😆

                WALL DEMOLITION

Some people succested that i leave that brick wall at sight, but pesonally i dont like it, and it didnt fit to my plans😏 There was done some bad work earlyer. The holes at the wall that had old pipes for wooden stove, they weren fixed propaply and only plaster holded the bricks in place.. Well, brick were fixed and i left the hatch for next owner, if they wanna chance back to wood.

                  LEVELING AND TILING THE WALL

When i saw this stove, that was that (HARVIA GLOBE). That what i was gonna get, and whit telescopic stand so i could raise the stove to middle bench. The stove was pretty expensive, but the stand was REALLY expensive (1/2 of the stove price). I thought i but it to hang, like in the picture, but that wouldnt work 😉. Hardware store onlu had the sample piece and ordering would take 2 weeks. That didnt suit mee, had to be NOW 😉. Well, we empty the sample piece from stones and put it to my cart, he also gived me the stones and some sale cause sample piece. So i did saved some money 😂

Now i had the stove. Now i needed some support timber, bench timber and back rest grill. Now we could make the benches. First i took measurements, like 3 times. Then i cut the timber to right size so it would be easyer to but the saunacover to surface.

          BENCH MAKING

The thre was the tree treatment. There was some work at fitting the branches and trunk so that they would look real and they would adapt to wall and sealin. Now it was dry as sahara desert, it had lie at carage next to warm radiator for 3 years so it had some cracks. I had some sawdust, so i mixed it whit sauna cover (IVALO color code, gray) and some clue. Whit that i filled the cracks and at the end i theated the wood 2 times whit cover paint. I learned this trick when i worked in wood workshop ( i wish i would taken picture from pirate cheast that i made from birch back then 😢)

               COLORING THE WOOD

Then there was the electric work. I made everything ready for electrician, waterproof cases for wires to sealing (where the old light use to be) from there, heat resistant wire under the bench that had the case for led lights. Somehow he did do 2 hours work. He insisted that he drill some holes to my new tiles for elecric box for stove (he didnt even have tools, so i had to search from mine😅) The bill wasnt so bad anyway.

And i had to make speakers to sauna, ofcourse 😃 I used some mdf wood and boat speakers, silicone and paint. i used oldstyle connection to player whit wires 😆 I dont know if there even was cordless speakers at the time

                SPEAKERS TO SAUNA

Then the benches. First the frame, so that no one wouldnt fall trough it  😆 Then the stove to right hight, whit that fu"%#¤ expencive telescopic stand 😂. I tryed to make attachments so that they wouldnt show, that it would look like some specialist have done them 😄

So, bench attacment at bottom, whit right size screws.. but there was some places that couldnt be done like that, so i just attached them from above 😕 And the grills i tryed to meke removable whit the stuff that everyone has in their capin doors, but the weight was too much for them. so i just made movable stool, for cleaning the floor

Bench was done now. few ceiling panels to place and then the trunk to the cap. I got it there, and its gonna be there forever 😆
And led wires behind the wall and ceiling panels. to tree i put 6 and stove 3, also behind the walls to bench 5 leds and middle floor 4... so there the explanation for previous picture wire mess 😅.

                            TREE TRUNK INSTALL

Then the branch cutting and install, and led wiring to them and stove. U should test the lights before final install so that u dont have to start pulling then off like a madman 😉. Above the stove u dhould chance stove leds, they can handle more heat. And i covered the cuting parts whit sauna cover paint. Sauna cover giver the wood slippery and lasting surface that can last years.

Again i had to chance my door. Had to have dark class door that fitted for my new sauna. Again i had luck like the last door...... I was demoliting some old abartment building and i was checking that there was no drunks sleeping their drunkeness away when we start squesing the roof away.
 
       DEMOLITION MAN AND SOME BIG SCISSORS

I found 2 dark smokeclass doors, different sizes. I didnt remember the measurements so i took then to my car at the lunch hour, like the good workers do. They would go to waist anyway😂. The narrow one was just right size, so i didnt have to buy that ether. Whit sauna cover the handle and thats it. I give other one for my friend that wanted to use it as table cover... I dont know if u can cut that class, but i hope he managed  😄

Then just the lower grill and cleaning.

We also put that partylite sparkle wall/table decoration to wall for more light (if need) and some mood

Thats that. Long time dreamed sauna was ready.😄😊😍😌
