TEE SE ITSE. PIHAN KAUNISTUS.

Tuossa aiemmin kirjoittelinki tuosta takapiha remontista, ja nyt oli vuorossa etupiha.

Tätä ollaa mietitty että mitä tälle tehdään. Se on vuosien saatossa pikkusen muuttunu, mutta ei sen vertaa että siitä ois kannattanu kirjotella.

Nyt tämä piharemontti tuli ajankohtaseksi kun aukasin tuon takapihalla olevan terassin, kun siitä oli pari lautaa lahonnut.

Sieltähän löyty näitä betoni laattoja alta, ja ajattelin sitte että nopiaa laittelen ne etupihalle, tuon ruohon tilalle joka on joka kesäinen maanvaiva.
Siitä kävellään kokoajan eikä siinä saa ruohoa pysymään.

Purin sitten koko sivu kulkuväylän ja kaivoin laatat pois.

Eihän tuossa vanhassa kulku-urassa enää kaadot ollut oikein, vaan siihen oli tullu semmoinen ura josta vesi ei päässyt liikkumaan.
Kyllä meinas kuuma tulla ku noin 50-60 kappaletta kanteli nuita tuonne etupihalle.
Siihen sitten "väliaikanen" ratkasu. Uudet muovit / maisemointikangas ja terassi tiilien päälle.

Tuosta kulku-urasta siirsin vain yhden reunalaudan hajonneen tilalle ja kavensin väylää yhden laudan verran. Hyvä se nyt oli 😉

Se oli nyt kasassa

Sitten tuon toisen terassin lahonneet pohjalaudat vaihdoin, vaikka eihän ne tule kestämään tuossa betonin päällä, kun vesi pääsee suoraan siihen reunalle.

Tätä oikeastaan käytin auki siksi ettei mulla ihan laatat riittänyt etupihalle ja ajattelin että tämän alla olisi lisää... ei ollut ku tuollaista isoa valettua laattaa.
Tästä kääntelin vain nuo reunalaudat ja takaisin kasaan.

Sitten joku halpis öljy pintaan (musta)
Ajateltiin ettei tuo öljy sitä ihan mustaksi tee, mutta vähän tummemmaksi kun tuo ruskea... tai mitä lie pähkinää oli aiemmin.

Aamullahan siinä sitten näky tällaisia jälkiä...
Se tuo naapurin kissa tykkää oleskella tässä meidän pihalla 😄

Taas menee vuoden... tai kaksi 😂

Nyt sitten päästiin tähän etupihalle.

Tässä kasvo erinäisiä kuusen muotoja ja tais siinä joskus olla kukkiakin.

Tämä kuusi on jo leikattu ainakin 3 kertaa ettei se kasva  tuosta räystäästä läpi.

Tänä vuonna se sai lähtä. Onhan se kiva joulun aikaan ku siihen saa valot, mutta sehän on vain kerran vuodessa 😉
Kuusi ja kaikki muukin roska pois penkinstä.

Pari polttopuutakin tuli ja roskaa sitäkin enemmän.

Tuolla kuusen juuressahan oli paljon tätä koristekiveä (Valkoista)
Ensin yritettiin vain siivilöidä roskat pois, mutta eihän siitä mitään tullu.
Se sitten putsattiin veden avulla.
Ämpäriin vettä ja kiviä joukkoon. Pinnalle jää kaikki roskat kellumaan ja kiviä voi pestä samalla ämpärissä.

Tässäkin prosessissa huippu työkalut 😆
Kyllä ne vaan puhdistu.

Pintakerros mullasta meni takapihalle ja pohja hiekka piti käydä läpi haralla ettei sinne jäänyt mitään kasvustoa.
Sokkelin viereen kannattaa laittaa salaoja sepeli (Ei hienoa ainesta) jos vesisade meinaa kastella sitä.
Näistäkinhän on pari erillaista vaihtoehtoa, mutta periaate on sama.

Sora päästää veden pois sokkelin läheltä ja imeytyy alemmlle maa kerroksille routasuojan kaatojen kautta.

Tuossa on myös hyvä käyttää eristelevyä, tai patolevyä, jota käytin itsekkin pienen pätkän.

Suuremman remontin yhteydessä sokkelin vierustat menee uusiksi muutenkin.

Sitten laitettiin uudet mullat puhdistetun hiekkamaan päälle.

UUDET MULLAT

Kaupasta sama satsi kun melkeen joka vuonna 😂

Ensin asennettiin nämä telineet köynnöskasveja varten.

Ja maisemointi kangas päälle. Kukille reiät kankaaseen ja niiden istutus.
Multa jätettiin kohoilevaksi ja päälle asennettiin hiilenharmaata koristekatetta laikukkaasti.

sitten loput laikut täytettiin nuilla pestyillä koriste kivillä.
Tämä oli nyt valmis.

VALMIS

Sama homma tälle toiselle nurkkaukselle.
Vanhat kasvit pois... No tuo yks havujuttu jätettiin 😄
Maiden mylläys / Puhdistus. Uudet ullat päälle. Kangas ja kukius.

Tuossa penkin vieressä ei ollut kuin sellainen matala muovinen reunasuojus, niin vaimo lisäs sitten vielä siihen tiili reunuksen. Näitä saatiin kavereilta ja nyt se  näyttää samalta kuin toinen kukkapenkki.

Tämäkin oli valmis nyt.
Roskaa tulee ihmeen paljon näinkin pieneltä alueelta.

ROSKAA

Sitten alkoi tämä laatoitus.

Vanhat "nurmikot" ja mullat pois. (Onneksi tässä ei montaa senttiä sitä ollutkaan)
Mun työkaluthan oli nämä samat kuin tuossa takapihan "salaojituksessa"
Kola, lapio ym tarpeellisia työkaluja 😂

TYÖKALUT

Kyllähän näilläkin sai nurmikot ja mullat kärrättyä takapihan nurkkaan, johon kaivoin syvän kuopan ja otin sielä uudet hiekat etupihan kivetystä varten.
Onneksi on hiekkamaa, niin ei tarvinnut tilata mistään.
Nyt siis oli hiekkaa kivetyksen alle, ja takapihakin sai uutta multaa nurmeen 😅

Nyt siis hiekan tasoitus, muovi alle ja kivetyksen latominen.
Tähän tasaukseen käytin pitkää lankkua ja sen päälle vatupassi.
Tässäkin on tärkeää laittaa kaadot pois talostapäin ettei sokkeli kastu.
Meillä nyt ei pääse satamaankaan tuohon sokkelin juureen koska räystäs on niin pitkä.

En ollut edes mitannut että miten nämä mahtuu, mutta mitta oli juuri sopiva 35senttisille laatoille.

Ei ihan riittänyt laatat takapihalta, mutta onneksi yläkerrassa oli pari vielä jemmassa viime asukkaiden jäljiltä.
Näitä ei oikein kaupoistakaan löytynyt, mutta onneksi ne riitti juuri ja juuri.

Hiekalla ja vedellä sitten rakojen täyttö.

Melko paljo sinne hiekkaa uppoaa vaikka raot ei ole kovin suuria.

Nyt tämäkin oli valmis.

Paripäivää tähän pikku remonttiin meni, mutta tulipahan tehtyä.
Nyt saa kävellä ihan rauhassa tuosta autojen takaakin, tai vaikka pakittaa autot ihan seinään kiinni 😂

Otin tuossa vielä uudet kuvat koska kukat ja köynnäkset rupesi saamaan väriä ja kokoa.

Siinäpä se. Mulla ois tulossa se isompi remontti tähän etupihaan, mutta se on joskus tulevaisuudessa 😉

I writed about our back yard earlyer, and now it was time to do the front yard

We have thought about this yard alot, and it has chanced over the years, but not enough to write about this.

Now this renovation bacame current when i opened the back terrace, because i thought i chance few rotten terrace planks

Under the terrace was old walkway made from concrete slaps. I thought i just dig these upo and make concrete walkway to the front. Front yard has so bad lawn that it needed to go.

I tear up whole walkway to get enough slaps for the front yard.

Old walk wy was so pressed that the water could not get away from the building.
It got pretty hot when i had to carry 50-60 slaps to the front yard.
Then i made "temporary" solution for this deck. I layed down some new plastic and landscape fabric. Layed the tiles to the top and then the deck back on.

I just moved one sideboard to the center to replace the broken one. The walkway was just one board narrower. Now it was good  😉

This one was good now.

Then i chanced these few support beams that was under the deck. They wont last because the water / snow just layes there, top of the concrete

I teared this up just to see if i could get few more 35sentimetre slaps from here because i didnt have enough to the front yard... It didnt have those. Just these big boured slaps.

I just turned these boards from this and put it back together

Then i used some cheap oil (black color)
I thought this oil wont make it too black, but a bit darker than the old brown one... or whatever wallnut it was.

At the morning i found these tracks from the deck.
Neighbors cat likes to visit our yard 😄

This last another year... or two 😂

Now we got to the front yard

Our "flower bed had some differend spruce / pine-tree variation... it might of had some flowers

We have cutted this tree about 3 times, so it wont grow through the roof.

This year it had to go... Its nice at christmas time with lights, but thats just once a year 😉

Got few woods for the fireplace, but got lots more carbage

Under that tree there was lots of this decor stone (White)
First we tryed to clean the rocks with sieve, but that didnt work.
Then we used water.
Bugget full of water and then just drop some stones in it. Lighter carbage stays at the surface and u can wash those rocks at the same time.

In this proses we had perfect tools 😆
They got cleaned.

Surface dirt went to back yard and i had to clean up the sand so it wont have anything grow in it.

near the plinth u should but some gravel (not dirt in it) if the rain water can get to the plinth.
There few option but the basics are the same.

Water gets through the gravel and sucks to the lower levels (watersystem) with the help of the frost covers

Theres good to use insulator sheets or barrage sheet whitch i used some too.

When im doing another renovation to this yard, i will make it batter then.

Then we added some new dirt to the top of the sand .

From the store, same stuff as every year 😂

First we assemblyed these rags for the climber plants.

Then the landscape fabric on top. Then we just cutted holes for the plants and digget them in the soil.
We made the new soil hilly and added some colegray barkwood on top.

Then the rest bold spots we filled with the washed decor stones.

This was done.

DONE

Same thing to this other flower corner.
Old stuff out... well, we did leave this one pine-tree 😄
Clensing the sand, new soil, fabric and flowers.

That flower bed just had small rubber fance the keep the grass out, so my wife added this brick fence that we got from our friends, to make it as the same as the other bench.

This was ready too.
Theres lots of trash from the small area.

Then i started this tiling.

Old grass and soil off (Thank god there wasnt much of it)
I had the same tools as the back yard renovation.
Snow pusher,shovel et cetera.😂

TOOLS

I git the grass and soil to the back yard with these. I just digget a whole to the corner and took out enough sand for the front and filled the hole with the front yard soil.
Didnt have to order sand, so i saved some money.
Now i had sand to the front yard and back yard got some new soil  😅

Now just spread the sand, level it. Add some plastic on top and then lay the concrete slaps.
I used some long board and bubbletube on top of it.
Its important to get the levels away from the house so that the plinth wont get wet.
We dont have that proplem because our eaves are so long.

I didnt even measure these caps, but it was perfect for these 35sentimetres slaps.

I didnt have quite enough slaps, but thankfully i found some from warehouse, from the previous owners.
I could find these in the store, but it just was enough.

I filled the caps between the slaps with water and sand.

It takes a lot of sand even when the caps arent so big.

Now this was ready too.

It took  2 days, but i made it.
Now i can walk without fearing for the lawn, and i can reverse my car almoust to the wall 😂

I took new pictures, cause the flowers and climping plants got a bit bigger and had some color.

Thats it. I still have that bigger renovation for this yard, but thats in the future 😉
